Birthday Bash

Hollace turned one on August 12. It was a busy time of the summer for us so we weren't able to host a party. But our little family of four did whoop it up in his honor. Also, Hollace eats cake like a champ.

I know it's been awhile, too long for some. I'm not going to make excuses or try to catch up. But rather I'll just start from where we are. Today, here is a look at mornings. 

Anders insisting on feeding Hollace oatmeal. I think thy both loved this. 

Hollace has been using utensils and trying to feed himself with them. Here he is eating the dregs of Anders cereal that he pulled from the counter. 

Anders is WAY into being a superhero every day. Today it was superman.

It's happening! They're playing together. 

Anders insisted on getting up there and holding his brother while he swung.

Hollace has since mastered this ladder and can climb to the top completely unassisted. Anders was super excited to have a top-bunk playmate.

On Ryan's fifth Father's Day we took the kids fishing up on Mt Hood.

I think we're all surprised at the depth of Anders' dispair. This morning his world fell apart because he decided he wanted cereal but had to eat his waffle before getting some. 

Update!

We've had a fun few months! Life is a little less hectic now that we're not driving to North Portland for daycare anymore. And, as always, things get extra fun when the weather warms up. Here's a recap of the last month!
