First Chore

With a little encouragement and direction,  Anders has taken to feeding Hazel twice a day. Potential downsides; hazel being overfed, dog food everywhere and water being added to dog food. Potential upsides; too numerous to list. 

Those pesky preferences

After a visit to "toys r us" he would like to officially add this to his Christmas list.

Anders now bypasses the stairs on the big toys at the park. Oh how times have changed!

Mr. Independent

It's fun to see Anders making his own way. 

No sippy cup needed for this guy. He knows how to wield a straw!

His first movie. Catching a glimpse of the first 15 minutes of the original Peter Pan playing on the kids' iPad in the seat in front for us. No sound needed. (Yes, this is a little sad, but that's how we're rolling). 

Anders boldly lead the way as we exited the plane and walked to baggage claim. 

Mountain Climber

Our last New Mexican adventure took us high above the ski valley, over 11,000ft, to a high altitude lake called Williams's Lake. Anders, Meme, Kiefer and I trudged to the top and explored along the way.

New Mexican adventure!

Anders and I enjoyed a long weekend with Meme and Joe. We had daily adventures including Anders first thunderstorm. 

We went to the great play park at Twirl, in Taos. They had an amazing play area, including a large structure. Anders got 1/2 way through and got stuck, so Meme climbed up and finished with him. 

Anders and I sat like this for close to an hour while we waited for the storm to pass.

We waded through a shallow river and then collected vegetables from a friends' garden.

Joe's grandson, Kiefer, came to visit for that last couple days our our visit. Kiefer has a little brother a few months older than Anders, so he knew the score. They played board games.

Snack Nap

Anders had a late night last night, slept until 10am, and had a hard time settling at nap time. So, Ryan introduced the "snack nap." It wasn't successful in getting Anders to sleep, but it sure was cute.
