Christmas Break

Quiet Christmas morning with just the 3 of us. 

Anders' swiped his first drumstick from my plate, devoured and loved it.

'Twas the Weekend Before Christmas

And Anders had his mind blown. 

First by the red car Nana and Doodah game him. 

If he could have he would have stayed in this car the entire weekend. 

Then, upon our return to Portland, he had his first Chinese. He LOVED it. So much that he insisted he carry his leftovers to the car himself. 

A Quick Visit to Santaland

Anders wasn't exactly thrilled to sit on Santa's lap. He did humor us, didn't cry and powered through.

After he played is a mini polar express car and  intently watched the bigger kids in the seat in front of him. This was definitely his favorite part of Santa land.

Hunting for a Christmas tree proved to be a little more complicated than years past with our independent wobbler in tow. Fixated on carrying the saw (!), Anders trudged through the snow and braved the 20 degree weather sharing his displeasure with the entire farm. Things turned around once we got back to the car.  And so are the days of our lives.

Pink Eye Suspention

Anders has his first ever conjunctivitis diagnosis, lucky guy. He also just happens to have an ear infection (both the doc an I were surprised about that). But is was a sunny, albeit chilly day, and we got a little time to explore. 

Since his carseat was in Ryan's car, we got to break out the old infant seat. He seemed to embrace it!
